Responsibilities:

1. Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and fabric innovations.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
3. Source new fabrics and garment trims to enhance our product range.
4. Create and manage tech packs or spec sheets for each garment.
5. Conduct sampling to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.
6. Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive collections.
7. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely product availability.
8. Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Merchandiser in the fashion industry.
2. Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their properties.
3. Strong understanding of current fashion trends and market demands.
4. Ability to create tech packs or spec sheets with accurate specifications.
5. Proficiency in freehand sketching to communicate design concepts.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
8. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field.
